Why do I enjoy working at Häring?

The exciting thing about my job as General Manager in China: no two days are the same. I really enjoy the daily challenges of a growing family business. At Häring, I always have the opportunity to grow beyond myself and to realize new ideas with my colleagues - across all locations.

What do I consider a milestone in my work?

In order to keep up with the new technological developments, we rely on the promotion of young talent. In 2013, we therefore took a big step into the future of training at our Chinese location. With the dual apprenticeship and our academy in Taicang, we enable our junior staff to combine practical experience and theoretical knowledge - something that has been known in Germany for a long time.

What do I think about social projects?

It is important to me to take on social responsibility and to work on intercultural projects. This is well received by Häring. The implementation of the “Häring Sino-German Kindergarten” since 2016 has been an important work for me in addition to the work as general manager - and it's fun. We have converted a building with an area of 4000 square meters into a kindergarten and currently offer 28 children a place. But the demand is higher, so there is still a lot of work ahead of us.
